The Going-To-The-Sun Road, Glacier National Park

Within just a 39-minute drive to Tally Lake Campground, you’ll be all set to launch your SUP or inflatable kayak onto the serene waters of Tally Lake.The lake’s clear waters reflect the majestic mountains, offering a serene setting for paddling, wildlife watching, and simply soaking in the natural surroundings. Whether you’re paddling vigorously or drifting quietly, Tally Lake promises a day of relaxation and adventure.

Flathead River

The gentle currents of the mainstem of the Flathead River offer a great float for people who are familar with floating rivers but might not be too confient to paddle any major rapids. This stretch is between Teakettle and Pressentine Bar, approximately 11 river miles makes for a perfect half day float. The river’s tranquil waters provide a perfect backdrop for relaxation, reflection, and adventure.
