SOL Train
The Galaxy SOLtrain is the flagship board of the SOL Paddle Board fleet. What’s included in the rental?
Your rental will include the SUP, paddle, a pump to inflate the board, and a backpack to carry everything. Personal flotation devices are also included.

Are the boards pre inflated?
Depends on your mode of transport. All SUPs, Kayaks and Tubes we rent are easily inflatable on site with a manual pump (included) unless you would prefer for us to inflate your rental products in advance at the shop. We offer electric car charger pumps for rent as well if you prefer to have some electric assist to pump up your products. Also, WE DELIVER! If you would prefer to have us meet you on site at your favorite trailhead or body of water, just let us know.

Do you deliver SUP boards to any nearby lakes?
Absolutely, that is one of the things that makes Black Tie so special, our delivery service. Delivery is FREE for multi-day rentals and can be arranged for a fee for single day rentals.

How many people can you fit on a board?
“Depends on the board. Most boards can comfortably fit up to 2 people at a time. However, we do rent out the SOL Fiesta which is the party barge of all party barges and is designed for up to six adults or up to 10 kids!

What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel your reservation up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled delivery/fitting at NO CHARGE. If you cancel within the 48-hour window, you will be subject to a charge of one full-day rental per person plus applicable taxes.

What do I bring with me the day of my rental?
Come dressed/prepared for any condition, weather in the mountains can change at the drop of a hat despite what the weather APP says. Snacks, water bottle (We sell them if you forget yours!), and most importantly sunscreen/hats and other sun protection. We recommend bringing comfortable shoes/sandals/water shoes, sunglasses, and your favorite bathing suit.

What is your physical location?
Our retail/walk-in location is conveniently located in the center of town at 501 Old Mammoth Road, just next to the Vons Plaza. If you cannot make it to us, we deliver! We can meet you at your hotel, home, campsite, RV park, as well as at your favorite trailhead or body of water!

When do you charge my card?
We collect a credit card to hold all reservations. We do not charge cards until rental equipment is picked up and signed for.
